About Me

My photo
My tremendously supportive husband & I have 3 wonderful children, 1 dog, 12 laying hens, 2 dairy goats, 3 bee hives, and a 2000 sq foot vegetable garden on a small 1/4 acre lot in the city. In the center of it all is our small 1,000 sq foot house purchased in 2008 as a foreclosure that we fully renovated to host our growing family, home school adventures, and small home business (CozyLeaf.com). We have a desire to learn a path to self sufficiency finding ways to be good stewards of the resources God has given us. We want to learn to live with less as we laydown roots to our little homestead.

Eggs, Salad, Arugula, Herb Excess for Sale!

One of our plans with the garden is to try to can, freeze or dehydrate and save as much as we can for winter...but some of the vegetables are just not really meant to be saved, like lettuce! SO, we have to get rid of some of our excess and want to give some of our local readers a chance to have these delightful heirloom salad blends on your dinner table too!

Free Range Eggs - $2 per dozen / $3 per 18 count

$4 per half pound or $7 per pound
Arugula (heirloom), Lettuce (heirloom) or Herb Salad (heirloom) This Herb Salad is a blend of heirloom arugula and several varieties of heirloom lettuce accented with some sliced radishes and salad onions and topped off with basil, chives, and sage - all cut, cleaned and ready for the dinner table :)

Let me know if you are interested and I will get your dinner salad ready!
